Abstract
Imobilizacija enzima je vezanje enzima na nosač, a jedni od najidealnijih nosača za imobilizaciju enzima su celuloza i njezini derivati. Neke od metoda kojima se provodi imobilizacija enzima na celulozne nosače su kovalentna imobilizacija, metoda adsorpcijom i metoda zarobljavanja. Provođenje kovalentne imobilizacije moguće je provedbom funkcionalizacije celuloznih nosača, odnosno uvođenjem funkcionalnih skupina na površinu celuloze. Ovim će se završnim radom prikazati najvažnije metode imobilizacije enzima na celulozne nosače s detaljnijim uvidom u načine funkcionalizacije celuloznih nosača.
Abstract (english)
Enzyme immobilization is confinement or localization of enzymes in certain defined region of space of carrier. Among numerous, the most ideal carriers for enzyme immobilization are cellulose and its derivatives. Covalent attachment, adsorption and entrapment are the most used methods for immobilization of enzymes on cellulose carriers. However, for covalent attachment introduction of functional groups on cellulose carriers, i.e. functionalization, is prerequisite. This undergraduate thesis will present the most important methods for enzyme immobilization on cellulose carriers with a more detailed insight into carrier functionalization.
