Abstract
Koenzim NAD+ (nikotinamid adenin dinukleotid) koristi se u brojnim biokatalitičkim oksidacijskim reakcijama u kojima se NAD+ reducira u NADH (reducirani oblik nikotinamid adenin dinukleotida). Budući da je cijena koenzima NAD+ iznimno visoka, važno ga je regenerirati. U ovom istraživanju provedena je regeneracija koenzima NAD+ putem reverzibilne oksidacije etanola do acetaldehida u mikroreaktorima izrađenim iz različitih materijala, upotrebom imobiliziranih i slobodnih enzima, te imobiliziranih i slobodnih permeabiliziranih stanica kvasca. Dobiveni rezultati uspoređeni su s rezultatima provedenim u kotlastom reaktoru. Najveća konverzija u najkraćem vremenu postignuta je upotrebom staklenog mikroreaktora sa slobodnim enzimom ADH (alkohol dehidrogenaza) (X = 95,89 %; τ = 2 s).

Coenzyme NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is used in numerous biocatalytic oxidation reactions where NAD+ is reduced to NADH (reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide). As the price of coenzyme NAD+ is extremely high, it is essential to regenerate it. In this study regeneration of coenzyme NAD+ was carried out by reversible oxidation of ethanol to acetaldehyde in microreactors of different materials using both suspended and immobilized enzyme and permeabilized yeast cells. Results obtained were compared to experiment conducted in batch reactor. The highest conversion in the shortest time was achieved in glass microreactor with suspended ADH (alcohol dehydrogenase) (X = 95.89 %; τ = 2 s).
