Abstract
Otpadne vode su otpadne tvari u tekućem obliku, a onečišćenje voda predstavlja promjenu kakvoće voda koja nastaje unošenjem, ispuštanjem ili odlaganjem različitih tvari u vodu. Razlikuju se kućanske, industrijske, oborinske i rashladne otpadne vode. Njihovo se pročišćavanje može provesti na mehanički, biološki, ili fizikalno – kemijski način, ovisno o potrebi stupnja pročišćavanja. Nakon što su pročišćene, otpadne vode se preko ispusta ispuštaju u prijemnike. Jedna od mogućih tehnologija pročišćavanja otpadnih voda je i primjena tehnologije sekvencionog šaržnog reaktora (SBR). SBR je sustav aktivnog mulja koji se upotrebljava za pročišćavanje različitih tipova otpadnih voda od organskog biorazgradivog otpada. Postupak pročišćavanja se sastoji od faze dotoka otpadne vode, aeracije, taloženja i odvoda pročišćene otpadne vode. Svi se koraci pročišćavanja odvijaju u jednom bazenu te su odvojeni vremenski. Otpadna voda je nakon obrade SBR tehnologijom visoke kakvoće, a pri njenom ispuštanju neškodljiva za okoliš.

Wastewaters are substances in liquid form and water pollution represents a change in water quality resulting from entering, discharging or delaying of various substances in water. There are domestic, industrial, wastewaters from precipitation and wastewaters that were used for cooling. Their purification can be done in a mechanical, biological or physico – chemical way, depending on the necessary of degree of purification. After they are purified, they can be discharged through the outfall into the receivers. One of the possible technologies in wastewatertreatment is sequencing batch reactor (SBR). SBR is system of activated sludge that is used for purification of various types of wastewaters from organic biodegradable pollution. The purification stage consists of inflow of wastewater, aeration, sedimentation and drainage of purified water. All this steps of purification are performed in one pool and are separated in time. Wastewater has high quality after SBR technology and is harmless to the environment in its discharge.
