Abstract
Med je čaroban dar prirode u čijem stvaranju sudjeluju pčele i biljke. Osim što je veoma ukusan može se koristiti i kao poslastica, veoma je energetski hranjiva namirnica. Pčele proizvode med na isti način već najmanje 150 milijuna godina. Njime on predstavlja zalihu za duge zimske mjesece, kada cvijeće ne cvijeta i ne proizvodi biljne sokove. Proizvode ga od cvjetnoga nektara ili drugih izlučevina biljaka: Sakupljaju ga, transformiraju, miješaju sa specifičnim tvarima koje sami proizvode, skladište i ostavljaju da dozrije u pčelinjaku. To je naporan posao jer za jedan kilogram meda 70 tisuća pčela mora posjetiti oko 7 milijuna cvjetova. Med nam omogućava da popravimo brojne propuste u prehrani i povećamo hranjivu vrijednost proizvoda koje svakodnevno unosimo u organizam. Što ga prije počnemo konzumirati, to bolje. Na taj si način jamčimo zdravlje u starosti, a ne treba zaboraviti niti činjenicu da stalna uporaba meda ojačava imunitet organizma i otpornost prema bolestima i infekcijama. Osobe koje boluju od šećerne bolesti mogu koristiti med ali u vrlo malim količinama ali uz prethodno savjetovanje liječnika.

Honey is a magical gift of nature in whose creation involved bees and plants. Exept that it is very tasty and can be used as a treat, it is very energy nutrients foods. Bees produce honey in the same way for at least 150 million years. It is stock for the long winter monts, when flowers are not blooming and produces vegetable juices. Produces as floral nectar or other secretions of plants. Collect it transform, mixed whit specific substances that manufacture and warehous and leave that to the apiary. Its hard work because for one kilogram of honey 70000 bees must visit about seven million flowers. Honey allows us to fix a number of vulnerabilities in diet and increase nutritional value products daily into our body. So before webegin to better. Thus guaranteeing helth in old age, and one should not forget the fact that constact use of honey strengthens the immune system and disease resistance to infection. People with diabetes they can use honey but in very small quantities, but with prior consultation doctor.
