Abstract
Poli(etilen-tereftalat) (PET) je jedan od često primjenjivanih ambalažnih materijala za pakiranje proizvoda. Jedno od optičkih svojstava polimernog materijala je njegova prozirnost i koliku taj materijal pruža zaštitu za upakirani proizvod od prolaza UV svjetlosti. Izloženost nekog proizvoda svjetlosti utječe na svojstva proizvoda, njegovu kvalitetu i kvarenje te stoga predstavlja važno svojstvo materijala. Zadatak ovog završnog rada je definirati i opisati PET kao ambalažni materijal, ispitati njegovu prozirnost i spektre u UV-Vis području s ciljem utvrđivanja karakteristika u području UV-Vis zaštite i identifikacije.
Abstract (english)
Poly (ethylene terephthalate) (PET) is one of the most commonly used packaging materials for product packaging. One of the optical properties of a polymeric material is its transparency and the extent to which this material provides protection for the packaged product from the passage of UV light. Exposure of a product to light affects the properties of the product, its quality and spoilage and therefore represents an important property of the material. The aim of this work is to define and describe PET as a packaging material, to examine its transparency and spectra in the UV-Vis area in order to determine the characteristics in the area of UV-Vis protection and identification.
