Abstract
Usnu šupljinu kolonizira veliki broj mikroorganizama. U prvom redu je to normalna fiziološka flora usne šupljine koju mikroorganizmi nastanjuju komenzalnim ili simbiotskim načinom života. Međutim, u usnoj šupljini mogu se naći i agresivne patogene vrste bakterija, gljiva ili virusa. Usna šupljina može sadržavati različite patogene vrste endogenoga podrijetla koje uzrokuju bolesti samo u određenim uvjetima i zovu se oportunistički patogeni. Normalnom florom smatramo one mikroorganizme koji nastanjuju kožu i sluznice zdravog čovjeka ne čineći mu nikakve štete. Najčešće infekcije usne šupljine su gnojne infekcije, infekcije sluznice, periodontalne infekcije i karijes. Pri liječenju infekcija usne šupljine rabe se protubakterijski, protuvirusni i protugljivični lijekovi.
Abstract (english)
The oral cavity is colonized by a large number of microorganisms. In the first place it is the normal physiological flora of the oral cavity that microorganisms inhabit with a comenzal or symbiotic lifestyle. However, aggressive pathogenic types of bacteria, fungi or viruses can also be found in the oral cavity. The oral cavity may contain various pathogenic species of endogenous origin that cause disease only under certain conditions and are called opportunistic pathogens. We consider a normal flora to be a microorganism that forms on the skin and mucus of a healthy person and does not cause any damage. The most common oral infections are purulent infections, mucosal infections, periodontal infections and career infections. Antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal drugs are used to treat oral infections.
