Abstract
Voda je dragocjeni resurs, i život kakav poznajemo na Zemlji bez vode je nemoguć. No, nažalost danas se sve više osjeća nedostatak kvalitetne, pitke vode. Zbog toga se sve više provode razni postupci pročišćavanja voda, kako bi dobili čistu i pitku vodu. Voda prekriva čak 71 % površine našeg planeta, ali samo mali dio vodene mase na Zemlji je prikladan za piće, te u neprestanom onečišćavanju od strane čovjeka. Prljave vode su uzrok mnogobrojnih bolesti, pa je vodu potrebno čistiti, štiti, čuvati i štedjeti. U RH raspoložive količine vode su veće nego u mnogim drugim europskim zemljama.

Water is precios source, and life as we know on Earth is impossible without water. But, unfortunately, today we can all feel less of qualitative, drinkable water. Because of that, today are used different methods of water analysis in oreder to get pure water. 71 % of our planet is covered with water, but only small percentage of that water is accessible for drink, and it is subjected to human influence. Filthy water has caused different kinds of disease, and because of that we musto purify, protect, keep and save our water. In Croatia we have much more accessible water than in other european countries.
