Abstract
Za samo jednu kontrakciju mišića se događa mnogo preciznih, povezanih i usklađenih reakcija: živćani impuls, otpuštanje Ca2+ iona, hidroliza ATP-a, interakcija S1 glava miozina sa aktinom, pomicanje S1 glave, klizenje miozina uzduž tankog vlakna, regulacija Ca2+ iona radi kontrakcije ili inhibicije kontrakcije, konformacijske promjene troponina i tropomiozina također povezane s kontrakcijom ili inhibicijom kontrakcije, enzimi, sinteza ATP-a itd., i tako stalno u krug, a sve to da bismo mi mogli npr. zatvoriti očne kapke na trenutak, da bi nam srce moglo lupati oko 70 puta u minuti ili da bismo mogli disati, tj. raditi te "jednostavne" radnje. Cilj ovoga rada bio je podrobnije opisati mehanizme kontrakcije mišića.

For only one muscle contraction, a lot of precise, interconnected and harmonised reactions occur: nerve signalling, Ca2+ ions release, ATP hydrolysis, interaction between S1 heads of myosin and actin, moving of S1 heads, myosin sliding along the actin fibre, regulation of Ca2+ ions concentration for contraction or contraction inhibition, conformational changes of troponin and tropomyosin also connected with contraction and contraction inhibition, enzymes, ATP synthesis ect., and all that cycling again, just so we could shut our eyelids for a moment, our heart could beat near 70 times in minute or so we could breathe, i.e. so we could be doing those "simple" actions. The aim of this work was to describe in details mechanisms of muscle contraction.
