Abstract
U radu je ispitivan utjecaj procesnih uvjeta ekstrakcije na sadržaj ukupnog lignina prisutnog u repinim rezancima, te piljevinama bukve, cera i hrasta kitnjaka. Provedeno je ispitivanje utjecaja otapala, njihovih kombinacija i vremena ekstrakcije. Destilirana voda, etanol (50%; 80%; 96%) i aceton su korišteni kao ekstrakcijska otapala, a ekstrakcija se provodila kao jednostupanjska ili dvostupanjska u trajanju od 2 h, 4 h ili 6 h. Nakon ekstrakcije, iz krutih ostataka biomase, određivan je udio Klason-ovog, topivog i ukupnog lignina prema analitičkoj metodi COST FP0901 - Određivanje udjela lignina u lignoceluloznim materijalima. Na osnovu dobivenih eksperimentalnih podataka i njihove obrade, zaključeno je da je postupak ekstrakcije ima utjecaj na udjele lignina određene u uzorcima. Udio Klason-ovog, topivog i ukupnog lignina u uzorcima repinih rezanaca te piljevinama bukve, cera i hrasta kitnjaka kreće se u rasponu kako je navedeno: u repinim rezancima: Klason-ov: 10,5-15,9%db; topivi: 4,5- 5,5%db; ukupni: 16,3- 21,2%db; u piljevini bukve: Klason-ov: 24,9- 28,2%db; topivi: 3,1- 4,1 %db; ukupni: 28,3- 31,3%db;u piljevini cera: Klason-ov: 24,8- 28,9%db; topivi: 3,5-4,5%db; ukupni: 29,2- 32,4%db; u piljevini hrasta kitnjaka: Klason-ov: 25,3- 29,4%db; topivi: 4,3- 4,7%db; ukupni: 30,0- 33,7%db. Kod uzoraka repinih rezanaca, kao optimalan način ekstrakcije pokazala se jednostupanjska ekstrakcija s destiliranom vodom u trajanju od 6 h, za uzorak bukve dvostupanjska ekstrakcija s destiliranom vodom (2 h) + 95%-tnim etanolom (2 h); za uzorak hrasta kitnjaka jednostupanjska ekstrakcija s 50%-tnim etanolom (2 h) dok kod uzorka cera, ekstrakcija nije imala utjecaj na određivanje udjela ukupnog lignina, jer su dobivene gotovo identične vrijednosti.

In this paper, the influence of process parameters on the extraction of the total content of lignin present in sugar beet pulp and sawdust beech, cerris oak and sessile oak, was studied. The examination of the influence of the solvents, their combinations and the time of extraction was conducted. Distilled water, ethanol (50%, 80%, 96%), and acetone were used as extraction solvents, and extraction was carried out as a one-stage or two-stage for a period of 2 h, 4 h or 6 h. After extraction, shere of the Klason's, soluble and total lignin content was determined in the solid residue biomass, analytical method COST FP0901 - Determination of lignin in lignocellulosic materials. Based on the experimental results and their analyses, it has been concluded that the extraction procedure has an impact on the lignin content specified in the samples. The content of Klason’s, soluble and total lignin in samples sugar beet pulp, and sawdust beech, cerris oak and sessile oak ranges as follows: in sugar beet pulp: Klason's:10,5 - 15,9%db; soluble:4,5 - 5,5%db; total lignin:16,3 - 21,2%db; the sawdust beech: Klason's: 24,9 - 28,2%db; soluble: 3,1 - 4,1%db, total lignin: 28,3 - 31,3%db, in oak sawdust: Klason's: 24,8-28,9% db; soluble: 3,5-4,5%db; overall: 29.2 - 32.4%db, in oak sessile sawdust: Klason's: 25,3 – 29,4% db; soluble: 4,3 – 4,7%db, total lignin: 30.0 - 33.7%db. In samples of sugar beet pulp, as optimal extraction method proved to be one-stage extraction with distilled water (6 h); for beech samples two-stages extraction with distilled water (2 h) + 95% ethanol (2 h); for oak sessile samples one-stage extraction with 50% ethanol (2 h), while for cerris oak samples, extraction had no effect on the determination of the total lignin content, because almost identical values are obtained.
