Abstract
U ovom radu, plijesni Aspergillus ochraceus i Trichoderma harzianum su uzgajane u uvjetima fermentacije na čvrstim nosačima koristedi otpad iz industrije šedera, bez dodatnih izvora ugljika i dušika s ciljem proizvodnje enzima koji mogu obezbojiti različita bojila. Fermentacije na čvrstim nosačima su procesi koji se odvijaju u odsutnosti slobodne vode na čvrstim materijalima, koji mogu služiti kao fizički nosači i/ili kao izvor hranjivih tvari za rast i razvoj mikroorganizama. U tu svrhu, primijenjene su dvije različite metode u kojima su repini rezanci upotrijebljeni a) kao supstrat za uzgoj Aspergillus ochraceus i Trichoderma harzianum i kao adsorbens bojila i b) kao supstrat za uzgoj Aspergillus ochraceus i Trichoderma harzianum s ciljem izvanstanične proizvodnje enzima koji su dalje korišteni u šaržnim eksperimentima za obezbojenja bojila. Postignuti su sljededi rezultati: 100 %-tna konverzija tekstilnog ljubičastog bojila, 57 %-tna konverzija tekstilnog zelenog bojila, 51,9 %-tna konverzija metilenskog plavila i 41,1 %-tna konverzija kongova crvenila.

In this work, fungi Aspergillus ochraceus and Trichoderma harzianum were cultivated in solid state fermentation using sugar industry waste without any additional carbon or nitrogen sources in order to produce enzyme cocktail that can efficiently decolorize different dyes. Solid state fermentation (SSF) is defined as fermentation process performed in the absence of free water on non-soluble materials which can act as physical support and/or source of nutrient to microorganisms. In order to decolorize dyes, two different methods were applied where sugar beet waste was used a) as a substrate for Aspergillus ochraceus and Trichoderma harzianum cultivation and as dyes adsorbent; and b) as a substrate for Aspergillus ochraceus and Trichoderma harzianum cultivation with the aim of extracellular enzymes production that can be further used for dyes decolorization in batch experiments. 100% conversion of textile violet dye decolorization, 57% of textile green dye decolorization, 41.1% of congo red and 51.9% conversion of methylene blue was reached in batch experiments using produced extracellular enzymes.
