Abstract
Voda je vrlo dragocjen resurs i bez nje nema života. Raznim djelovanjima čovjeka na prirodu, što slučajnim, što namjernim, dolazi do onečišćenja životno važnih izvora. Znanost svakodnevno napreduje te nastoji održati vodu za piće zdravstveno ispravnom, tj. bez prisutnosti različitih mikroorganizama, teških metala, nastoji održati njena kemijska, fizikalna i organoleptička svojstva. Vode na našem Planetu ima jako mnogo, no samo je mali dio dostupan čovjeku i životinjama za piće i zato je vrlo važno obratiti pozornost na zaštitu prirodnih izvora i shvatiti ozbiljnost situacije jer iz dana u dan takvih je izvora sve manje.

Water is a very precious source and without water there is no life possible. Humans with their accidental and intentionally activities change nature, and in that way life important sources are polluted. Every day science is developing, and it keeps water safe for our health, without any microorganisms, heavy metals, and it also keeps chemical, physical and organoleptic characteristics. There is abundance of water on our planet, but only small part of that is accessible to humans and animals for drinking. Each day the number of these sources is smaller and smaller and that is why we should pay attention and protect our natural sources.
