Abstract
Neredovita prehrana, stres, tjelesna i mentalna iscrpljenost ozbiljno narušavaju otpornost ljudskoga organizma i uzrokuju bolesti. Prilagodba čovjeka na nov način i dinamiku života zahtjeva jače izvore kvalitetne energije. Zbog toga je sve veća vrijednost pčelinjih proizvoda: meda, propolisa, matične mliječi, peluda i drugih poznatih u narodnoj medicini i znanosti. Znanstvenici pčelinjim proizvodima pripisuju antibakterijska, antiseptička, antioksidacijska i mnoga druga svojstva.

Parallel abstract (English)
Honey and other bee products (propolis, royal jelly, pollen, bee venom, beeswax, honey vinegar) represent a healthy and available food, raw materials or substances which have persisted despite the emergence of cheaper industrial products. Worldwide in all folk medicines a number of recipes and recommendations have been recorded which use bee products for various purposes such as in nutrition, therapy, cosmetics and other purposes. In many countries, apitherapy has been used for centuries as a form of treatment. Irregular diet, stress, physical and mental exhaustion seriously undermine resilience of the human body and cause disease. Human adaptation to a new and dynamic way of life requires more sources of good energy. Therefore, there is an increased value of bee products: honey, propolis, royal jelly, pollen and other well known products in folk medicine and science. Scientists attributed antibacterial, antiseptic, antioxidant and many other features to bee products. Scientists are still investigating their actual healing properties, which undoubtedly exist.
