Abstract
Centrifugalne pumpe su najzastupljenije pumpe u svim industrijskim postrojenjima, uključujući prehrambenu industriju. Procjenjuje se da je gotovo 90 % svih pumpi koje se danas koriste u industrijskim pogonima upravo centrifugalne pumpe. Osnovna uloga centrifugalnih pumpi je dovođenje energije potrebne za transport kapljevina. Centrifugalne pumpe sastavljene su od rotora pričvršćenog na vratilo i kućišta (statora). Sve veći razvoj prehrambene industrije u novije vrijeme, zahtjeva centrifugalne pumpe specijalne izvedbe koje obavljaju zadatke za koje standardne centrifugalne pumpe nisu prikladne. Za svaku pumpu u industrijskom postrojenju, neophodno je odrediti uvjete pod kojima će pumpa raditi. Pravilnim projektiranjem, rukovanjem i održavanjem centrifugalne pumpe, kao i pripadajućih cjevovoda, armatura i fitinga, osigurava se njen optimalan rad te se izbjegavaju štetne pojave poput nastajanja kavitacije i kavitacijske erozije.
Abstract (english)
Centrifugal pumps are the most prevalent pumps in all industries, including the food industry. It is estimated that almost 90% of all pumps used today in the industry are centrifugal pumps. The primary role of centrifugal pumps is to supply the energy needed to transport the liquid. Centrifugal pumps are comprised of a rotor fixed to the shaft and housing. The recent increasing development of the food industry requires special-purpose centrifugal pumps that perform tasks for which conventional centrifugal pumps are not appropriate. It is necessary to determine the conditions under which each pump will operate in the industrial plant. Proper design, operation and maintenance of the centrifugal pump, as well as the associated piping, armatures and fittings, ensure its optimal functioning and avoid harmful phenomena such as cavitation and cavitation erosion.
