Abstract
Informacije o hrani informacije su koje se odnose na hranu, a dostupne su krajnjem potrošaču putem etiketa i drugih popratnih materijala, sredstava moderne tehnologije ili verbalne komunikacije. Osnovni zadatak informiranja potrošača o hrani je omogućiti izbor i sigurnu uporabu hrane, te pri tome postići visoku razinu zaštite zdravlja i interesa potrošača. Nadalje, cilj je i osigurati slobodan protok hrane na tržištu vodeći računa o zaštiti legitimnih interesa proizvođača, te upravljanje krizom kada je zdravlje ljudi ugroženo. Označivanje hrane jedno je od zakonski najsloženijih područja vezano uz hranu, odnosi se na velik broj različitih skupina proizvoda i obuhvaća velik broj propisa. Osnovni propis koji regulira ovo područje je Uredba 1169 /2011 o informiranju potrošača o hrani.
Abstract (english)
Food information means information concerning a food and made available to the final consumer by means of a label, other accompanying material, or any other means including modern technology tools or verbal communication. The basic task of informing consumers about food is to enable the choice and safe use of food, while achieving a high level of protection of the health and interests of consumers. Furthermore, the aim is to ensure the free movement of food on the market, taking into account the protection of the legitimate interests of producers, and crisis management when human health is at stake. Food labeling is one of the most legally complex areas related to food, it refers to a large number of different food product groups and includes a large number of regulations. The basic regulation governing this area is Regulation 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers.
