Abstract
Podzemne vode glavni su izvor vode za piće za stanovnike grada Osijeka. Rad obuhvaća jednogodišnje praćenje procesa obrade vode za piće u pogonu JP „Vodovod-Osijek“ d.o.o. s ciljem utvrđivanja sezonskih temperaturnih promjena na biološku nitrifikaciju u procesu prerade vode za piće, odnosno uklanjanje amonijaka i nitrita u ovisnosti o otopljenom kisiku. Izvršena su i dodatna ispitivanja učinkovitosti uklanjanja mutnoće i željeza. Ispitivanja su provedena tri puta tijekom svakog mjeseca u 2011. godini koja su obuhvaćala određivanje ulaznih i izlaznih vrijednosti amonijaka, nitrita, kisika, mutnoće i željeza u objektima Filternica 1, Filternica 2 i Filternica 3 sa ukupno 22 filterska polja. Dobiveni rezultati su statistički obrađeni pri čemu su izračunate prosječne ulazne i izlazne vrijednosti navedenih parametara, te kroz postotak izražen učinak pojedine Filternice. Dobiveni rezultati ujedno su i uspoređeni sa Pravilnikom o zdravstvenoj ispravnosti vode za piće. Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali da uklanjanje navedenih parametara ovisi o ulaznoj koncentraciji kisika u vodu za piće.

Groundwater is the main source of drinking water for residents of the city of Osijek. The work includes one-year follow-up processing of drinking water in drinking water treatment plant “Vodovod-Osijek” in Osijek town, to determine the seasonal temperature changes on the biological nitrification process in the processing of drinking water, or elimination of ammonia and nitrite as a function of dissolved oxygen. We have performed additional tests and the efficiency of removing turbidity and iron. Tests were conducted three times during each calendar month in 2011th year involving the determination of input and output values of ammonia, nitrite, oxygen, turbidity and iron in the filtering structures 1, 2 and 3 with a total of 22 filter fields. The results were statistically analyzed with the calculated average input and output values of these parameters, and the percentage is expressed through a filtering effect. The results are also compared with the Rules on health suitability of drinking water. The results showed that removal of these parameters depends on the inlet concentration of oxygen in the water for drinking.
