Abstract
Gušterača je organ ljudskog tijela koji sudjeluje u probavi hrane i mijeni šećera. Najčešće bolesti gušterače, kao što su akutna i kronična upala, zahtijevaju primjenu prikladne prehrane radi spriječavanja njezinog nepoželjnog učinka na zdravstveno stanje bolesnika. Takva prehrana bi trebala osigurati potrebni unos energije i hranjivih tvari prema preporukama za tu vrstu bolesti upotrebom namirnica koje su dozvoljene ovoj skupini bolesnika. U ovom radu korišteno je linearno programiranje za izradu jelovnika za osobe s oboljelom gušteračom koji su radno sposobni, a obavljaju lagani posao. Funkcija cilja bila je minimalna cijena obroka, a model ograničenja sustav linearnih jednadžbi i nejednadžbi pomoću kojeg su određene količine namirnica potrebne za izradu jelovnika. Iz odabranih namirnica pripremljen je dvotjedni jelovnik u kojemu su usklađene mase obroka, energetska vrijednost, unos hranjivih tvari i cijene pojedinih i ukupnih dnevnih obroka po danima. Jelovnici su u skladu s RDA i literaturnim preporukama, a u njima je postignut unos potrebne količine energije i hranjivih tvari. Cijena dnevnog obroka za muškarce je u prosjeku 31,99 kn, a za žene 27,45 kn.

Pancreas is an organ of human body which participates in digestion of food and in sugarglucose change. Generally pancreas diseases, such as acute and chronic pancreatitis, require the usage of adequate nutrition in order to prevent the undesired effects of the health condition of the patient. This nutrition should ensure the required intake of energy and nutrients according to the recommendations for that type of disease by the usage of food allowed for this group of patients. This paper uses linear programming for the construction of menu for persons with pancreas diseases, who are able to work, but also practice light work. The used cost function was minimum meal cost, while the model of boundaries was the linear equation and inequation system by which the contents of food required for construction of menu are defined. From the selected ingredients for 14-day menu is prepared and the meal mass, energy value, intake of nutrients and cost of individual and total daily meals are adjusted. Menus are in accordance with RDA and literature recommendations, with the achieved intake for the required energy and nutrients amount. Cost of daily meals for males is an average of 31,99 kn, and for female 27,45 kn.
