Abstract
U ovom radu je istraživan utjecaj promjena procesnih parametara na kinetiku sušenja glinenih pločica u sušioniku „TRAY DRIER“ u laboratorijskim uvjetima. Tijekom istraživanja praćeno je kako povećanje temperature sušećeg medija utječe na kinetiku sušenja i ostale procesne parametre. Povećanje temperature može dovesti do ubrzavanja procesa sušenja što dovodi do uštede energije. Od ostalih procesnih parametara praćen je sadržaj vlage uzorka, promjena mase uzorka, linearno skupljanje uzorka, temperatura u uzorku te stanje sušećeg medija u ovisnosti o vremenu sušenja. Pod dozvoljenim promjenama u procesu sušenja podrazumijevaju se one koje ne narušavaju kvalitetu i oblik proizvoda. Odabran je odgovarajući matematički model (modificirani Henderson-Pabis) na osnovu kojeg se može kontrolirati i pravilno voditi proces sušenja. Tako možemo dobiti proizvod bez deformacija i lomova. Matematički model s kojim se dobiju najbolji rezultati je: \(\oint \left ( t \right )= a\cdot e^{\left ( -k\cdot t^{n} \right )}\). Spomenuti model mogao bi se uspješno primijeniti u industrijskom sušenju.

The influence of process parameter changes on the kinetics of clay tiles drying was investigated in this work. The research was performed in the convection drier ˝TRAY DRIER“ in laboratory conditions. The main part of this research was to prove how the increase of temperature of drying media (the air) influences the kinetics of drying and other process parameters. The increase of temperature can speed up the process of drying and means energy savings to the producer. Other important process parameters are the content of moisture in the clay tile, the mass exchange, linear shrinkage of the samples, the temperature of the drying media in relation to the time of drying. Allowed changes in the process of drying are the ones that don't disturbe neither the quality nor the shape of the product. The proper mathematical model was chosen in order to describe, control and lead the proces of drying correctly and get the product free from cracking and deformation. This is the model used to describe the process (modified Henderson-Pabis): \(\oint \left ( t \right )= a\cdot e^{\left ( -k\cdot t^{n} \right )}\). At the end it is sure that this model could be successfuly used in industrial drying.
