Abstract
U zaključku rada treba naglasiti kako je unos pekarskih proizvoda neopravdano nizak, a unos soli putem pekarskih proizvoda čini gotovo polovinu dnevno preporučenog unosa.

The theoretical part of this paper provides guidance for proper nutrition, gives an insight into the role of grains in the diet of people, places emphasis on the harmful effects of excessive salt intake for health and defines the methods used to assess the dietary habits of each individual. To gather the necessary nutritional information of the studied population, a questionnaire of 24-hour recall of food consumption was used and portion sizes were determined by using the atlas with photos of servings. The results of the paper show consumption habits of bakery products with a focus on the bread and rolls as well as different types of bread, depending on nutrition status, age, sex and place of residence of the studied population.
