Abstract
Mlijeko je jedna od najvažnijih namirnica u prehrani ljudi. Nakon pakiranja glavni uzročnici promjena u mlijeku su kisik i svjetlost koji mogu prodrijeti u ambalažu te razvoj mikroorganizama. Ambalaža mora spriječiti te promjene. Mlijeko se pakira u staklenu, plastičnu i višeslojnu ambalažu. Sve ove vrste ambalaže moraju zaštititi mlijeko od promjena što ambalaži daje zaštitnu funkciju. Osim toga, ambalaža mora imati skladišno-transportnu, uporabnu i prodajnu funkciju. Za prodajnu funkciju bitan je dizajn ambalaže. Cilj ovog završnog rada bio je opisati mlijeko kao namirnicu, moguće promjene koje se mogu dogoditi tijekom skladištenja. Osim toga, cilj je bio opisati ambalažu za pakiranje mlijeka, funkcije ove ambalaže te utjecaj dizajna ambalaže na prodaju.

Milk is one of the most important foodstuffs in the human diet. After packing, the main causes of changes in the milk are oxygen and light that can penetrate into a packaging as well as the development of microorganisms. The packaging must prevent these changes. The milk is packaged in glass, plastic and multilayer packaging. All these packaging types must protect the milk from the changes, which gives packaging a protective function. In addition, packaging must have the storage-transport, convenience and sale function. Packaging design is important for the sale function. The aim of this work was to describe milk and possible changes that may occur during the storage. In addition, the aim was to describe the milk packaging, the function of the packaging and the influence of the packaging design on the sale.
