Abstract
Sve veća ekološka svijest i stroži zakoni dovode do potrebe za implementacijom učinkovitijih sustava za hlađenje u industriji, javnim ustanovama i kućanstvima. Primjerice, potrošnju vodovodne vode u rashladnim sustavima u laboratorijima je moguće smanjiti odvodeći joj toplinu u rashladnim tornjevima i vraćajući ju nazad u rashladni sustav. Kako bi navedeni sustav bio učinkovitiji i manje ovisan o operatoru, u ovom diplomskom radu je razvijen sustav automatskog upravljanja baziran na Arduino platformi s implementiranom PID regulacijom. Sustav ima dva načina rada, konzervativni i agresivni, koji, ovisno o temperaturi vode, postavljaju brzinu pumpe i upravljaju protokom vode. Kao mjerni pretvornici temperature su korišteni 1-Wire uređaji, a za mjerenje protoka je korišten mjerni pretvornik s Hall učinkom. U sustav su implementirani postupci za dijagnostiku i zaštitne mjere, stoga je sustav siguran u slučaju kvara.
Abstract (english)
A growing environmental awareness and a more stringent law policies raised need to implement more efficient cooling systems in industry, public institutions and households. For instance, tap water consumption in cooling systems in laboratories can be lowered by eliminating heat from it in cooling tower and recirculating it back into the cooling system. To make this system more efficient and less operator dependent, automation system based on Arduino platform with implemented PID regulation is developed in this work. System has two modes of operation, relaxed and aggressive, which, dependent on water temperature, regulates water flow by setting pump speed. 1-Wire devices are used as temperature sensors and Hall sensor is used for water flow measurement. Self-diagnostic procedures and protective measures are implemented in the system, so its operation is fail-safe.
